The difference between metal shower hose and PVC shower hose

High water pressure resistance performance:
The inner tube of the metal shower hose on the market is made of EPDM, which has excellent high temperature resistance and aging resistance. The outer layer is wrapped with a stainless steel tube, and the maximum working water pressure can reach 20 BAR.
PVC shower hoses are generally divided into 3-5 layers, all made of PVC. Because there is no outer metal tube protection, nylon threads are usually braided in the middle of the tube to meet the requirements of high water pressure.

Corrosion resistance:
The surface treatment of the metal hose is usually divided into polishing and electroplating. The electroplating layer is mainly nickel and chromium, so that it can resist corrosion for a long time and keep the surface of the hose bright as new.

The PVC material on the surface of the PVC hose has the advantages of corrosion resistance and easy cleaning. At the same time, the PVC hoses of different colors can form an overall effect with the bathroom. However, PVC is prone to aging in a long-term hot water environment and decomposes harmful substances.

Tensile Strength:
The metal hose can withstand up to 70 kg of vertical tension.
The PVC hose can withstand up to 20 kg of vertical tension.
